Ecological Orchid Sanctuary & Botanical Conservation Reserve in the Peruvian Amazon
The Manu National Park is the habitat of many species of Orchids is estimated 430 throughout the Anpe (natural area protected by the state), and in recent years many species were disappearing by anthropogenic actions such as agriculture, livestock, logging and selective extraction is how this conservation project arises as a family initiative that aims to conserve many species of Orchids of the Manu National Park that are very important in ecosystems.
The Botanical Garden of Orchids shelters more than 300 species between Litophytes, epiphytes and terrestrial in an area of 10000 m2 connected by trails that facilitate their easy visit to tourists and researchers.
